20110090850 | System and Method for Adaptive Frame Size Management in a Wireless Multihop Network - A system and method for adaptively managing frame size in a wireless multihop network is disclosed. In one embodiment, a packet is transmitted from a source to a destination. A acknowledgement packet is received and a successful acknowledgement packet counter is incremented if the acknowledgement packet arrives prior to a time-out of a timer. A frame size is increased if the successful acknowledgement packet counter reaches a specified value. If the acknowledgement packet arrives after the time-out of the timer, the successful acknowledgement packet counter is reset and the frame size is decreased. These procedures can be repeated until the frame size is greater than or equal to a maximum frame size or less than or equal to a minimum frame size. | 04-21-2011 |
20110051921 | Method and System for Controlling Establishment of Communication Channels in a Contact Centre - A method for controlling establishment of a communication channel between a service provider terminal of a contact centre and a service request terminal is disclosed. The method comprises responding to receipt of a request to establish the communication channel by: | 03-03-2011 |
20090264118 | OPTIMIZING NEIGHBOR LISTS - The present invention relates to a method of generating neighbor lists in a radio communication network comprising user terminals and base stations defining sectored or omnidirectional radio cells, where communication between user terminals and base stations is arranged to take place over radio channels. The method comprises the steps of: (a) receiving radio channel measurements from at least some of the user terminals; (b) creating a first table by using the measurements received from the user terminals, the first table comprising for at least some of the user terminals the corresponding radio channel measurement in relation to different radio cells; (c) processing the first table to generate a cell coupling matrix indicative of a radio coupling figure between different pairs of cells in the network; and (d) for a certain cell obtaining a neighbor list by determining the radio channel neighbors to be the cells of which the coupling figure with the cell in question is greater than a given threshold. | 10-22-2009 |
