20110006098 | NAILER WITH CONTROLLED ACTION FEEDER MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY - The pneumatic nailer has an elbowed feeder magazine for feeding fasteners one at a time. The magazine has an elongated inner frame segment fixedly mounted to the nailer main frame, an elongated outer frame segment operatively connected in non-coaxial fashion to the inner frame segment. Each of the inner and outer frame segments has a corresponding first and second channels, for slidingly retaining fasteners in coextensive slidethrough fashion. The fasteners are movable under gravity forces from a fastener intake to a fastener discharge outlet opposite the fastener intake. A fastener pusher device may be provided with a pusher retention device having an operative mode, active with a large storage load of fasteners into the magazine, and an inoperative mode, triggered when the load of magazine fasteners decreases below a threshold value. | 01-13-2011 |
20100172719 | ASYMMETRICAL ENGINEERING FLOORING NAIL - An asymmetrical engineering flooring nail for driving through an exposed surface of this flooring and fully thereinto. The nail defines an elongated shank having a transverse head at one end and a tapered tip at the opposite end; an intermediate portion of the shank includes a plurality of pairs of opposite teeth: Each transversely registering pair of opposite teeth are lengthwisely offset relative to one another by a small acute angle relative thereto; the number of first teeth on one side of shank is greater than the number of second teeth on the opposite side thereof, so that a smooth toothless upper side portion of said shank portion corresponds to the shank side of said second teeth is longer than that of the first teeth. Each of the opposite teeth forms an edge tooth, extending transversely outwardly beyond the longitudinal plane of the corresponding edge of the shank, and a trough, extending transversely inwardly through the longitudinal plane of the corresponding edge of shank, wherein the pitch and depth of each tooth will vary from one another of the teeth, in such a way as to optimize the features of the nail according to the hardwood flooring material. | 07-08-2010 |
