Abstract:
A desk tidy has a body, an insert and a base. The body is diaphanous, has
a top, a bottom, a container, an outer wall and a chamber. The container
is centrally formed on the top of the body and has an inner surface, an
outer surface for mounting stationery and a bottom. The chamber is formed
between the inner surface container and the outer wall. The insert is
removably mounted in the chamber of the body and has an outer surface
with a design. The base is selectively mounted securely on the bottom of
the body. Therefore, the design of the insert can be protected and easily
changed.Claims:

Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001]1. Field of the Invention
[0002]The present invention relates to a desk tidy, especially to be a desk tidy with easily exchangeable design.
[0003]2. Description of the Prior Arts
[0004]With reference to FIG. 5, a conventional desk tidy (50) in accordance with the prior art is used to hold stationery and has a top, an outer surface and a container (51). The container (51) is defined in the top of the conventional desk tidy (50). The outer surface of the conventional desk tidy (50) may comprise a design being a picture, word or combination thereof.

Furthermore, the design on the outer surface of the conventional desk tidy (50) is easily abraded and damaged but is not easily changed. Therefore, a conventional desk tidy having a unique design is unachievable and once the design is damaged the desk tidy must be entirely replaced.
[0006]To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a desk tidy to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007]The main objective of the present invention is to provide a desk tidy that allows a design to be easily changed.
[0008]The desk tidy in accordance with the present invention has a body, a insert and a base. The body is diaphanous, has a top, a bottom, a container, an outer wall and a chamber. The container is formed on the top of the body and has an inner surface, an outer surface for mounting stationery and a bottom. The chamber is formed between the inner surface of the container and the outer wall. The insert is removably mounted in the chamber of the body and has an outer surface with a design. The base is selectively mounted securely on the bottom of the body. Therefore, the design of the insert can be protected and easily changed.
[0009]Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0010]FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a desk tidy in accordance with the present invention;
[0011]FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the desk tidy in FIG. 1;
[0012]FIG. 3 is a cross sectional side view of the desk tidy in FIG. 1, also showing an enlarged section;
[0013]FIG. 4 is a front view of the desk tidy in FIG. 1, shown holding stationery; and
[0014]FIG. 5 is a front view of the conventional desk tidy in accordance with the prior art, shown holding stationery.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016]With further reference to FIG. 2, the body (10) is diaphanous and has a top, a bottom, a container (11), an outer wall (13), at least one fastening hole (15) and a chamber (14). The container ( 11) is centrally formed in the top of the body (10) and has an inner surface, an outer surface and a bottom. The outer surface of the container (11) holds stationery or the like. The at least one fastening hole (15) is formed through the bottom of the container (11). The chamber (14) is annular, is defined between the inner surface of the container (11) and the outer wall (13), is located around the container (11) and has an open bottom.
[0017]The insert (20) is removably mounted in the chamber (14) of the body (10) through the open bottom and has an outer surface, may be annular, may be a sheet and may be paper. The outer surface of the insert (20) has a design such as a picture, word, advertisement, combination thereof or the like.
[0018]With further reference to FIG. 3, the base (30) is selectively mounted securely on the bottom of the body (10) and has a top and at least one hook (31).
