The primary purpose of this present invention is to provide a product that

particularly, the invention relates to a method for lowering the

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The primary purpose of this present invention is to provide a product that can replace Gasoline in spark ignition, internal combustion engines. More particularly, the invention relates to a method for lowering the oxidizing properties of Ethanol that will allow it to function without destroying engine parts. Ethanol is obtained from the processing of renewable raw material known generally as Biomass, which, in turn is derived from Carbon Dioxide under the influence if Solar Energy. The main additive to this fuel is Glycine Max. Glycine Max Oil is a stable product that is non hazardous, clear or pale straw colored, odorless and tasteless. This Oil presents no health hazards while lowering the oxidizing property of Ethanol and is a renewable resource. Why this Blend was being developed and the reason for the name "Green Fuel" was that everyday in the News Media, somewhere there was an Article about Our Troops Dying in Iraq, this Fuel, if we can get our Politicians to pay attention, can be very helpful in bringing the Troops Home. If we do not need the Iraq Oil, we do not need to be there. The Public has been kept in the Dark about a lot of the Oil Company Shenanigans in the Past, if they knew about Fuels like "Green Fuel" they would be devastated. Let's Bring Them Home.
The existing Global Inventory of vehicles and machinery operating with spark ignition, internal combustion engines does not allow, currently, the complete elimination of Gasoline as a motor fuel and it should be noted that a very small amount >3% (by volume) of Gasoline will still be needed to facilitate the engine starting process.
The clean combustion of Ethanol results in lower pollution and less corrosive exhaust gasses. This Green Fuel does not produce Sulphur Dioxide which is one of the greatest offenders from Petroleum Products. This Green Fuel also results in little to none of the large amounts of byproducts of incomplete combustion which can cause formation of residues, lowered viscosity of lubrication oils and effects the composition of the exhaust gas.
This invention of bended Ethanol Fuel has several advantages over ordinary Petroleum Fuels. The most outstanding of these is that Ethanol is a cleaner burning fuel than Petroleum Fuels; there is nearly complete combustion of the Ethanol Fuel without many intermediate products of combustion. This results in savings in engine maintenance and overhaul because the internal engine parts are cleaner. The clean running of the engine is maintained because of the solvent action of Ethanol which continuously dissolves any residues which may have built up.
Conventional Gasoline is a major fuel for spark ignition, internal combustion engines. Gasoline is a volatile, highly flammable, generally colorless liquid obtained by fractional distillation of petroleum. The extensive use of gasoline results in the pollution of the environment. The combustion of gasoline derived from crude oil or mineral gas disturbs the carbon dioxide balance in the atmosphere and causes the Greenhouse Effect. Because there is only 2% fossil fuel in this invention, it should contain minimal Hydro Carbons that can damage the Atmosphere
Crude oil reserves are decreasing steadily and many countries are already facing crude oil shortages and extreme inflation all related to these reported shortages.
The growing concern for the protection of the Environment, tighter requirements governing the content of harmful components in exhaust emissions, and the afore mentioned fuel shortages are forcing this industry to develop alternative/replacement fuels which will burn more cleanly and efficiently, are more cost effective and are from renewable sources.
The task of replacement fuels for internal combustion engines has existed for centuries and large numbers of attempts have been made to use renewable resources for yielding motor fuel components.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to blended ethanol-based fuels which can be used in existing engines. Through the use of additives, the blended ethanol fuel (Green Fuel) of this invention overcomes the problems of the previous Ethanol Fuels which led researchers away from using ethanol as an engine fuel.
It will be shown that this ethanol-based fuel (Green Fuel) has been blended so it can be used in the typical passenger automobile with only very minor modifications to pre-computer cars and no modifications to fuel injected computer controlled cars. It will also be shown that this Green Fuel can be used along with Gasoline if there are no Ethanol Stations around. Flex Fuel vehicles have the same ability, but they were not designed to be Environmentally Friendly, it was an agreement between the Oil Producers and The EPA that stated no Fuel over E85 will be considered for production. This Invention will show that E98 (Green Fuel) is a better choice for the Environment and the Public. It is within the scope of the present invention to use Gasoline in minor proportions (>2%) as an Engine Starting agent in this blended Ethanol Fuel.
It is also expected that this invention will provide blended Ethanol Fuels which are capable of efficient operation in Trucks, Tractors, Airplanes, Marine, and Lawn Equipment and with further testing all Diesel Engines as well
This Ethanol Fuel Blend is also capable if properly lubricating the internal parts of the internal combustion engine because of the added Lubricating Oil to the Ethanol Fuel in a small concentration in order to protect the internal parts of the engine, such as cylinder wails, the fuel injectors and gaskets.
The principal responsibility of such Oil would be that it dissolves in Ethanol and retains its lubricating ability under the high temperature and high pressure conditions of engine operation. Hence, while petroleum oils could be used, they are not preferable because they are often difficult to dissolve in ethanol and they are Petroleum Based and contain Hydro Carbons and if dissolved, the components of the oil tend to be broken down by the Ethanol. It has been proven that most high grade Vegetable Oils will work since they continue to provide lubrication under the typical operating conditions and they readily dissolve in Ethanol. The Oil that this invention had used surprisingly effectively is Glycine. Concentrations of the oil additive at (<3%) by volume has been found to work.
Automobile engines with higher compression ratios use Ethanol to a better advantage than ordinary petroleum fuels. The higher the compression in the engine; the greater the advantage. Since recent designs of engines have tended toward higher compression, modern engine designs and the blended fuel created by this invention (Green Fuel) are even more compatible.
The blended fuel that has been developed (Green Fuel) by this invention has an antiknock characteristic. The octane number (a measure of the antiknock characteristic) of this blended fuel is higher than ordinary petroleum fuels. This higher octane will permit a more advanced spark which will make better use of the fuel. Hence, the distributor could even be advanced to provide ignition at an earlier point in the engine cycle, while this is not necessary the advantage would ultimately be better performance.
This blended fuel is also less likely to cause vapor lock because it is much slower in vaporizing in the fuel lines or in the carburetor system. Vapor lock causes loss of engine power, poor acceleration and in extreme cases, engine stoppage. This vapor lock is caused by the vaporization of a fuel in the Fuel lines thereby reducing the amount of fuel flow to the carburetor.
Since petroleum fuels have a lower flash point and exhibit greater volatility, another benefit of this blended fuel (Green Fuel), is that it has been shown that the number of fires during storage and transportation is less for Ethanol blended fuels than for petroleum fuels.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an Ethanol-based fuel which is practically and economically comparable to ordinary petroleum fuels.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
This invention is a liquid fuel that is designed to replace >97% of gasoline/petroleum used in automobiles today. This invention (Green Fuel) is a blend of ethanol, unleaded fuel and Glycene. This fuel, when properly mixed will operate with no harm to any seals, gaskets, cylinder walls, fuel injectors and other engine parts. Also this Green Fuel can be Transported, Pumped and Stored in the current Facilities in use today. The Ethanol Blend will inherently run cooler which will in effect prolong engine life and slow down Global Warming. This invention is also non-polluting and is almost totally renewable with the exception of the >3% Gasoline.
The inventor has used the following procedure to Develop and Use this fuel. The Process for developing this Fuel started with watching Drag Racers develop 7 to 8 Thousand Horsepower on Alcohol, true it is a Racing Fuel, but why can't we use it on the streets with a little De-Tuning. Ethanol was purchased from a local Chemical Supply Company. It is designated as a Liquor by our Government, in order to keep from paying the extremely High Liquor Tax on 55 Gallons of "Moonshine", they will "Poison" the Ethanol to keep it from being consumed as Liquor. I had my Ethanol Poisoned with Unleaded Gasoline; it has to be at a rate of 2% per 55 Gallons. So my 55 Gallons contained 2.75 Gallons of Unleaded gasoline and 52.25 Gallons of Ethanol. Knowing that Ethanol was an Oxidizer and would destroy or damage seal and other parts I started looking for a "Neutralizer" several Organic Items were tried until I tried 100% Soybean Oil "Glycene", this was the key ingredient, now I had to determine the proper Ratio. If to much is used it will Gel in the fuel System, if to little was used it would run to Hot and possibly damage some Components. After months of testing different amounts I found the best Ratio to be @ 31/2 Ounces per Gallon. With the proper Ratio determined I now had to how to mix these together, it is very flammable so Electrical Mixers were not used. I did decide to Vigorously Shake the Blend until all Air Bubbles and Cloudiness were gone; the blend has to be as clear as pure Ethanol to get the Mix correct. This step was completed so now begins the Trials, several Jars were filled with The Blend and some with pure Ethanol, these were placed on a shelf for further testing that was 4 years ago and to this day there is no Corrosion or damage to any of the Parts, Seal, Hose, Carburetor Parts that were place in the Blend Jars, the Pure Ethanol Jars had significant damage to the same Parts that were put in them.
Vehicle Testing came next, starting with a 10HP Riding Lawn Mower, it was a Tecumseh 4 Cycle Engine, it was the first time when the Engine Started in a Closed garage that I noticed there was no Carbon Monoxide Gas, I had a CO Gas Detector in the Garage and after Hours of Tinkering it never sounded the Alarm, I was happy, no Pollution. The Tecumseh Engine on gasoline has an Exhaust Manifold Temperature of over 800 Degrees, the same engine on the Blend was less the 600 degrees, the only problem I encountered was that the Blend requires less Air to Fuel Ratio so I had to restrict or lesson the amount of Air entering the Carburetor, this was completed by altering the Choke Rod to Close more than normal, once that was completer, Road Test were Next. Although I never cut a Blade of Grass I did Wow the Neighbors while driving up and down the street and telling them that it was all Organic. Next Test Vehicle was a 1964 Corvette with a completely stock motor and Fuel system, it was the only one I had available. I made a temporary gas tank to make sure I did not do any damage to the New Tank that was on the Car. The same ratio that was used in the mower was used in the Car and it worked, and no pollution, no CO Gases and as a side benefit the Temperature gauge was 50 Degrees cooler than Normal Operating Temperature with Gasoline. To prove that this was not a Fluke I then put the Blend in a 1978 Corvette With a stock 350, Automatic and Air Conditioning, this was a daily driver for many years. The same Blend was added to the Tank, but only 2 Gallons was used so the rest of the gas in the Tank will be used before the actual tests were started. Once the gasoline was burned off, the Tank was filled with the Blend and I encountered the same problems as with the earlier Test, to much Air to Fuel Ratio, several different things were tried, but I found that by closing the Choke Butterfly the engine would run properly, I did get some Back Firing through the Carburetor and exhaust pipes so I advanced the Timing by turning the Distributor. This is not a Computer Controlled Engine, on Computer Controlled Engines the Process will be completed by the Oxygen Sensors and Mass Air Flow Sensors that will detect to much Air to Fuel mixture and take the corrective actions to adjust the Timing and Air Intake, once the minor adjustments were completed I took the Car to the Streets, it worked. After several "Road Test" and a few new rear tires I found the Blend works, it does not pollute, it gets about the same mileage, it has about the same power range, it has a slightly sweet odor from the Exhaust, it runs about 50 Degrees cooler and it is almost totally RENEWABLE, wow.
