Abstract:
The new discovery in the art of the said patent is the ability to assist
in making your journey easier.Claims:
1. I, Daryl Kahokunani-O-Betelehema Keamoai, am claiming that my invention
"Lana'i-The Traveling Body Boarding Raft (The T[B2]R)" clearly improves
the current state of the bodyboarding packs and that there, is none like
it in the surf industry today. The invention is the second of the TBR
Series.Description:
USE
[0001]The bodyboarding backpack was invented so that we may protect our bodyboard when we travel and is able to hold it on our back. The T[B2]R is invented so that when the boat drops anchor fifty yards offshore, all one has to do is throw his stuff overboard into the water and pull it to shore. It is waterproof and has two cords, one to inflate and the other to deflate. When inflated, the bodyboarding backpack will open up and be used as a raft to make the bodyboard easier to pull. When the backpack is deflating, it will return to its original style.
MAKE
[0002]The bodyboarding backpack is the same like any other backpack offered within the surfing industry. I am only improving it thus making most other backpacks in the industry second-class. The only difference is that it is used like a raft to pull things to shore. To make this product, the material, design and construction are the same as the old. The backpack is divided with an air flotation device on the bottom side where the straps are for your back.
STATEMENT REGARDING FEDERALLY SPONSORED RESEARCH OR DEVELOPMENT
[0003]I, Daryl Kahokunani-O-Betelehema Keamoai states that there is no federally sponsored research and development for the patent that I am currently applying for nor has anyone contacted me with sponsorship of any kind.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004]You're a surfer taking a trip to a secluded island or group of islands but the only way to get there is by boat. The reef surrounding the island/(s) is so shallow the boat cannot go all the way in. It stops about fifty yards from shore and drops anchor. What you gonna do?
[0005]With my invention, this is what you're gonna do. You are going to inflate the bodyboarding raft and throw it all overboard. Don't worry; it's waterproof so the bodyboard and any extra items inside won't get wet. When you jump in the water, you can line up all your bags and link them together in one chain.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006]The advantages of this invention are as follows:
[0007]Novel--It will help lighten the bodyboard that you have to bring to island. Plus, it's waterproof.
[0008]Non-Obvious--There is nothing like it around and it floats.
[0009]Useful--Backpacks have clips with cords so you can hook it all up in a line and pull in unison.
[0010]It is sleek and original in design but serves with function.
[0011]Available in 1 big float or 6 small bubbles.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0012]The backpack is the same as any other but it las a flotation device with an air pocket for the raft.
[0013]The backpack has two cords--one to inflate, one to deflate.
