A waist exercising device has a housing case holding a transmission motor
that drives a gear box via a decelerating machine. The gear box is
connected with a shaft that leads a guiding portion to perform a circular
motion. The user's waist is then guided to perform a swaying motion.
1. A waist exercising device, comprising:a housing case, which holds:a
transmission motor that drives an axle via a decelerating machine;a
driving gear, which is mounted on the axle;two driven gears connected
with the driving gear on each side;a link rod, which is disposed at a
corresponding position on the top surface of each driven gear and
pivotally connected to one end of a connecting bar;a vertical rod base,
which is disposed between the link rods and provided with a shaft;a
guiding part, which is disposed at the top of the shaft for a user to
hold with hips;wherein an adjusting device is used to adjust the height
of the shaft inside the rod base.
2. The waist exercising device of claim 1, wherein the housing case is disposed on a base with a connecting part extending from the front end thereof upward, a control panel is provided at the top of the connecting part, and the control panel is electrically connected with a circuit board for controlling the operation of the transmission motor inside the housing base.
3. The waist exercising device of claim 1 further comprising a remote control for controlling the operation of the transmission motor wirelessly.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of Invention
The invention relates to a waist exercising device and, in particular, to a device that guides a person to perform a waist swaying motion.
2. Related Art
There are many exercising machines on the market. As far as shaping the body is concerned, such machines include waist bending, hip swaying, chest extending, weight lifting, and jogging. In particular, the traditional hula hoop requires the user to continuously twirl the waist in order to rotate the hoop. Therefore, it is claimed to be able to achieve body-shaping effects. Moreover, this exercise is widely accepted by people at all ages because of its smooth and beautiful twirling motion.
Even though the traditional hula hoop has many advantages and features that cannot be matched by various bodybuilding equipments and is promoted by many people, it still has the following problems:
1. It is not easy to play with the hula hoop. In addition to having some basic skills and talent, the user has to accept failures in the beginning and practice perseveringly before he/she can learn the trick and master the exercise. It is thus extremely difficult for a person lacking of confidence or courage. Therefore, it often cannot achieve the expectation.
2. The diameter of a normal hula hoop is fixed. Therefore, it may not be suitable for everybody. For example, children and adults have to use hula hoops of different sizes.
3. Generally speaking, one sways the waist to twirl the hula hoop. To start the twirling from the static state of the hula hoop, the user has to exert a larger twirling force. This is most difficult and dangerous for senior people because it may result in injuries to the waist.
4. The user has to concentrate on playing the hula hoop. Any distraction may let the user to start all over again. Therefore, the user is not allowed to do or take care of other works.
In view of the foregoing, it is thus imperative to provide a solution that can simultaneously solve these problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
An objective of the invention is to provide a waist exercising device that actively guides its user's waist to perform a swaying motion.
To achieve the above objective, the invention has a housing case holding a transmission motor. The transmission motor drives an axle via a decelerating machine. The axle in turn drives a driving gear. Each side of the driving gear is connected with a driven gear. Each driven gear is provided with a connecting shaft at a corresponding position on its top surface. Each link rod is pivotally connected to both ends of a connecting bar. A rod base is vertically disposed between the link rods. A shaft is provided in the rod base. An adjusting device is used to adjust the height of the shaft inside the rod base. A guiding part for the user to sit on is provided at the top of the shaft.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.
Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 3. The waist exercising device in this embodiment has the following structure. A housing case 11 is disposed on a base 1 for holding a transmission motor 2. The transmission motor 2 drives an axle 211 into rotation via a decelerating machine 21. The axle 211 is pivotally connected to the decelerating machine 21 and protrudes from the top of the housing case 11. A connecting part 12 protrudes from the front end of the base 1 upward and approaches the human body. The top of the connecting part 12 is provided with a control panel 13 electrically connected with a circuit board for controlling the operation of the transmission motor 2 inside the housing case 11. The axle 211 driven by the transmission motor 2 is disposed with a driving gear 4 transmitting in the axial direction on the housing case 11. The driving gear 4 drives a driven gear 5 on each side of the axial transmission into rotations that are in phase. The housing case 11 is provided with a protection shell 14 for protecting the driving gear 4 and the driven gears 5. Each driven gear 5 is provided with a link rod 51 at the corresponding position on its surface. A connecting bar 6 is pivotally installed on each of the two link rods 51 and extends upward out of the protection shell 14. A rod base 61 is provided above the link rods 51. The top of the rod base 61 is empty for the installation of a retractable shaft 7. An adjusting device 8 is used to adjust the height of the shaft 7 relative to the rod base 61. A guiding part 71 for guiding the user's waist to sway is provided at the top of the shaft.
According to the above-mentioned structure, the transmission motor 2 provides the driving force. The decelerating machine 21 reduces the rotation speed. The power is transmitted via the axle 211 to the driving gear 4. The rotation direction is controlled by the signal from the control panel 13 and the circuit board 3. Therefore, when the driving gear 4 rotates, the driven gears 5 on both sides also rotate. In this case, the connecting bar 6 connected to the driven gears 5 via the link rods 51 starts its link motion, making the rod base 61 on the connecting bar perform a circular motion. This in turn makes the shaft 7 fixed in the rod base 61 and the guiding part 71 thereon perform a circular motion (FIG. 4). Before a user strides on the guiding part 71, he/she can use the adjusting device 8 to adjust the height of the shaft 7 in order to move the guiding part 71 to an appropriate position to sit. FIGS. 5 and 6 show embodiments of different heights according to the user's bodies. Before exercising, the user first holds the guiding part 71 by slightly squeezing both sides with both legs. Afterwards, the user sets the operation mode using the control panel 13, and then starts the operation of the device. Since the user has used both legs to hold the guiding part 71, his/her waist is then undergoing a circular motion with the device, achieving the same effects as playing with a hula hoop.
